Thankful Thursday

I am happy, and very Thankful to say that The Nut House has had a very quiet and uneventful week. It looks like we are finally getting back into our routine after our Christmas holiday.

I am Thankful that my children don’t seem to mind the garbage bags of junk that have been leaving their bedroom, and playroom. I am not sure if it is because they know there is no hope, or it is because they are hiding from me so I don’t ask them to help out. Either way, the purging of junk is good!

I am Thankful for the Wii Fit. It is not the same as actually getting out of the house to go for a walk, or go to the gym to work out, but it is just what our family needs. The kids think they are getting a treat because they get to play Wii on a school night, and I get to work out. Good for the body, good for the soul, good for postpartum depression. (still trying to work out a weekly check in blog hop for other Wii Fit bloggy buddies)

I am Thankful that the power has stayed on long enough for me to get this post finished and hopefully I will be able to get a little bit of work done on the computer today. If not, there is always more junk to toss.

As always, I am Thankful for my happy, healthy, wild little beasties that run around my house all day long driving me crazy, I am Thankful that we have a roof over our heads and for our wonderfully supportive group of friends and family and all the ways they help us.

So what are you Thankful for today? It is so easy to join in and tell everyone.

Here is how Thankful Thursdays works:

1. Post your Thankful Thoughts on your blog. Somewhere in your post please mention The Nut House and http://ourhappynuthouse.com/ so that your friends, family and visitors know where to find other Thankful Thoughts. You can also grab my Thankful Thursdays banner and link to that. Once you have done that you can come back here and add your post to MckLinky.

Not everyone has a blog, so:

2. If you don’t have a blog, you can leave a Thankful Thoughts comment in the comment section.

3. You can show your Thankful Thoughts any way you like, as a list, as a story, as one word, one sentence or just a picture. Have fun!
