Thankful Thursday

This week has been sooo boring, almost painfully so. Absolutely nothing exciting, scary or strange has happened all week long. That is fairly odd! I mean the full moon turned my Little Nuts into Little Beasties. I thought they were literally going to change into a group of wild beasts right in front of my eyes, but really, that happens more often than I care to admit. Four boys running around the house, climbing the walls, as chaotic as that it, sometimes there is no getting around things like that.

So what I am Thankful for this week? Well, the little things, the simple things.

I am Thankful that no one is sick!

I am Thankful that the temperature is rising and will be in the 80’s this weekend. And that the kids have been able to get outside and play this week and will spending more time outside this weekend. Shorts, T’s and tank-tops, flip-flops and sandals are replacing winter jackets and layers of clothes – so Thankful for that!

The warm weather also means that the muddy yard is drying out and my house is not covered in a trail of muddy clothes from the door to the laundry.

Seriously, Nutella on a spoon can turn my day around, Thankful for the nutty chocolaty goodness.

I am Thankful for fun homeschool projects and homemade clay.

I am Thankful for seeing the bottom of the laundry hamper.

I have put my 8 year old Wing Nut in charge of making lunch every day. I am so Thankful for his tasty peanut butter and jelly sandwiches!

As always, I am Thankful for my happy, healthy, wild little beasties that run around my house all day long driving me crazy, I am Thankful that we have a roof over our heads and for our wonderfully supportive group of friends and family and all the ways they help us.

So what are you Thankful for today? It is so easy to join in and tell everyone.

Here is how Thankful Thursdays works:

1. Post your Thankful Thoughts on your blog. Somewhere in your post please mention The Nut House and/or http://ourhappynuthouse.com/ so that your friends, family and visitors know where to find other Thankful Thoughts. You can also grab my Thankful Thursdays banner and link to that. Once you have done that you can come back here and add your post to MckLinky.

Not everyone has a blog, so:

2. If you don’t have a blog, you can leave a Thankful Thoughts comment in the comment section.

3. You can show your Thankful Thoughts any way you like, as a list, as a story, as one word, one sentence or just a picture. Have fun!
