10 Things Tuesday

10 Things Tuesdays has become my way of organizing my projects for the week, while keeping realistic goals of accomplishing 10 important things around the house and in my life – and be held accountable for them! As I am putting them out there for the world to see, I would feel like a super slacker if I didn’t do my best to get them done.

10 Things Tuesdays! Ten things made you happy this week? Blog about ’em! Ten things you want to do before the week’s over? Blog ’em! Any ten things, any theme you wish, every Tuesday over at Magnolia Queen.

You can go to last week’s 10 Things Tuesdays to see what was on my list and what I actually got done…and to see what is left over and moved up to this week.

1. Sleep. And then sleep some more.

2. Finish building the railing for the stairs. We got the bottom half completely finished and the top half started.

3. I have yet to post pictures of Maria, my Dobsonfly (wicked freaky bug that attacked me a while back) I am working on that.

4. Put away the monstrous piles of laundry that has taken over 2 different rooms in the house…at least they are clean, right?!? That pile of clean clothes just keeps getting bigger and bigger! {All most done!! I am over half way}

5. Patch the cracks in the walls of the homeschool room and do some touch-up painting.

6. Fill in the nail holes in the trim around the windows and doors in the downstairs of the addition and paint it. And then paint the rest of the downstairs addition. {Wall Nut has already done the trim around the windows and they are primed and ready to go…somehow I missed that}

7. Mow the lawn. well I mowed the back yard anyways!

8. Round 2 of Toss the Toys…which is getting old toys bagged up and sent off to Goodwill.

9. Lay around on the couch with my two oldest Nuts and listen to all of the exciting stories of their 3 weeks in New York with my parents.

10. Take pictures of the kids new bedrooms and get them posted…because our new addition rocks and I can’t wait to show it off.

Well, there are my 10 projects for the week, I wonder how many of them I can get done? I know it is not on my list, but we just got a crazy wicked storm roll through…I noticed that my garbage can is missing and I have to go hunt it down and clean up the back yard, it looks like some crazy wicked storm just rolled through.

    Great idea! I’m a list-maker to the core. I’m so anal about my list-making that if I do something that’s not on my list, I’m liable to write it down just so I can cross it off. lol So, are you going to write, “Find trash can” on your list? 🙂

    We’ve got a major storm brewing here, too. ‘Tis the season!

      🙂 I have written down things not on my list too, just so that I can see that they are done.

      I was shocked that the garbage truck took everything a few weeks ago…we were way over our limit!

    I like this. I’m always making lists of stuff I’ve gotta get done and wanna get done. If I posted it for others to see, then I would more likely do it!!!

      I am really getting things done around here since I started listing projects for the world to see, lol. I always have way too much going on and some projects seem to take me forever to accomplish. I usually start 50 things and then slowly chip away at them. Now that I have limited myself, I am getting much more done 🙂
