Sometimes You Just Have to Give up and Walk Away

When we went to Colonial Williamsburg in last month for the Homeschool Experience, I thought I would be able to get some good photos of the kids. They were looking at some old school style tools from “back then” and I thought that was the perfect time.

Rounding up the kids was a good start to the photo shoot.
Wait, wait, I have something to say, don’t take my picture yet.
Is there any chance that any of them will stand still? Can we not stand in front of each other?
Now we can see all 3 of you, can we all stand up and look at me now?
Look! Dirt. I love to play with dirt. And as we digress and pull out the bunny ears, it is time to put the camera down and move on.

Taking pictures of kids… near impossible. I’m saying those perfectly posed pics? All photoshop.

I have so many photos of the kids just like these, lol. When I get all 5 together, I am just lucky to get them not fighting or picking at each other, heehee. One of these days though, I am going to get a good photo of all 5 of the kids, I am on a mission!
