Ode to Little Nut Nut

The Morning was late, but that was OK
I was getting things done.
The laundry was washing
The kitchen shone like the sun.
The bread it was baking
Today would turn out to be fun.

The children were quiet
You might think this is good
I would like to agree
I stared searching
Not all could be found

I was missing one short
4 year old Little Nut Nut
Then I heard the sweet sound
Of a content little boy
Who was happy to play all alone

The classroom was where I found
This sweet little boy
Covered in play dough
And so was the room
He was full of sweet joy
With creativity in full bloom

We are cleaning the mess
So this is where I must end
Because I am running out
Of words that will rhyme
That is OK, I am now short on time.

At least you can write a poem about it rather than fussing! Congratulations! You just won “Best Mom of the Play-doh Mess” award!

Hahaha! Thanks Tricia 🙂 Hours later I am still stepping in it. Color is good, right? 😉
