Thankful Thursday

Happy Thursday Y’all!

It is amazing how fast some days go. I finally get to sit down and share my Thankful Thoughts with you. After promising this post is on it’s way for the past 12 hours, I can actually say Here It Is!

One thing I am grateful for at this moment is that day is over and my thoughts are my own, if only for a few minutes. I can’t say that today was hard or stressful, but it was a day packed full of some seriously large amounts of getting caught up with Homeschool and getting some freelance work done. We all had a very busy day and I am so Thankful to be able to kick back, enjoy a glass of wine.

It has been cha-cha-chilly this week! Thanks to some cold weather the stink bugs and elder bugs that took over my yard seem to have disappeared. I am Thankful that I don’t have to chase those crazy bugs out of the house any more.

I am Thankful for the glass of wine sitting here next to me. I  may have already mentioned that, but it has been a while since I have had wine and I need to mention it again. It is just that important. And after a half a glass I just might be borderline drunk. Ok, tipsy, not drunk. After a few more sips that might push me over the edge. Lightweight.

I finally caught up with all of my laundry this week! Yippie! I am flowing with Thankfulness that my family room is no longer covered in piles and piles and piles of clothes. The biggest problem I have now is actually having to go up into the kids rooms to get their clothes.

While I had the kids working hard at their Homeschool lesson, I might have raided their Halloween candy. It is obvious that most people don’t understand the importance of giving out chocolate for Halloween and I have already emptied my children’s goodie bags of all chocolate. They are happy with all of the left over taffy, skittles and lollipops. And I am Thankful that I bought an extra bag of Fun Sized Snickers that is stashed away out of sight and only accessible by me.

I am Thankful that I finally got my Blackberry troubles solved and that they finally turned my phone on for me even though I still have the other 2 phones they sent me. That may have been enough to make me forgive them for the run around.

As always, I am Thankful for my happy, healthy, wild little beasties that run around my house all day long driving me crazy, I am Thankful that we have a roof over our heads and for our wonderfully supportive group of friends and family and all the ways they help us.

So what are you Thankful for today? It is so easy to join in and tell everyone.

Here is how Thankful Thursdays works:

1. Post your Thankful Thoughts on your blog. Somewhere in your post please mention The Nut House and/or so that your friends, family and visitors know where to find other Thankful Thoughts. You can also grab my Thankful Thursdays banner and link to that. Once you have done that you can come back here and add your post to MckLinky.

Not every one has a blog, so:

2. If you don’t have a blog, you can leave a Thankful Thoughts comment in the comment section.

3. You can show your Thankful Thoughts any way you like, as a list, a story, a vlog, as one word, one sentence or just a picture.
