Thankful Thursday – Happy Holidays Edition – Merry Christmas

Happy Thursday, and Merry Christmas!

I spent my day hanging out with family, and shop hopping from Target to Kohl’s to Walmart, and finally ending at Martin’s grocery shopping. Six and a half hours of wandering in and out of the crowds, and I am exhausted. I knew I should have gotten Thankful Thursday up earlier, but I actually thought we were only going to be gone for 1-2 hours since there was very little that we needed to get. Would you believe that I have been trying to get a copy of Prince of Persia for the past month, and I can’t seem to find it anywhere? Who would have guessed? Either way I am Thankful for the time I spent out and about with my mom, and my baby girl.

That also means that my dad spent six and a half hours with 4 very active boys! I am Thankful that they had such a great time hanging out with Grandpa Nut.

I am Thankful that my parents are here for the Holidays!

I am super bummed that my brother couldn’t get the days off from work that he wanted, and that we won’t be seeing him until Monday, but I am Thankful that he will be here on Monday, and that I will get to spend a few days with him.

I am Thankful for the stupid crazy amounts of Christmas cookies that my mother made, and have taken over my dining room.

I am Thankful for the surprise gift that came in the mail in sweet little card. It has no return address, and no signature and I don’t recognize the handwriting so I have no idea who it is from. Thank You so much, you have no idea what this means to us, and how incredibly helpful this is for us. I am humbled, and Thankful.

I am Thankful Holiday flavored coffee creamer, and the joy of extra coffee to keep me up on late nights with my family.

As always, I am Thankful for my happy, healthy, wild little beasties that run around my house all day long driving me crazy, I am Thankful that we still have a roof over our heads and for our wonderfully supportive group of friends and family and all the ways they help us.

So what are you Thankful for today? It is so easy to join in and tell everyone. Leave a comment or share your own Thankful Thursday post.

I am thankful that my eldest is home for a few days and that the whole family is together for Christmas.

I am also grateful for skype to catch up with my sister via video on Christmas day.
