Thankful Thursday

Happy Thursday!

I am getting nothing done this week, except for planting some apple seeds before they died. Aside from that I seem to be struggling to hold on to time. I have found that it feels better to give up than to fight to get anything done. I am Thankful for my ability to know what battles are important, and which ones can be left for another day.

Wing Nut started getting a sore throat last night, and as of an hour ago it is much worse and now he has a pounding headache that won’t go away along with a 103 fever. Poor little guy is so sick, and in so much pain, but is still managing to laugh at my jokes, and smile when I do super dork mommy things for him. I am so Thankful for his positive outlook even though he is suffering. What a brave little guy. I am really hoping to report next week that the rest of the family is not suffering as well. I am hovering over Wee Nut, and doing my best not to freak out while I worry about him getting this. We could use some prayers for a healthy family this week.

I am Thankful for a wonderful Mended Little Hearts meeting, and the new Heart families that we got to meet

I am Thankful for the time I have reclaimed as my own on the Wii Fit, and that the kids have accepted the fact that I am not taking turns.

As always, I am Thankful for my happy, healthy, wild little beasties that run around my house all day long driving me crazy, I am Thankful that we still have a roof over our heads and for our wonderfully supportive group of friends and family and all the ways they help us.

So what are you Thankful for today? It is so easy to join in and tell everyone.

Here is how Thankful Thursdays works:

1. Post your Thankful Thoughts on your blog. Somewhere in your post please mention The Nut House and/or ourhappynuthouse.com so that your friends, family and visitors know where to find other Thankful Thoughts. You can also grab my Thankful Thursdays banner and link to that. Once you have done that you can come back here and add your post to Inlinkz.

Not everyone has a blog, so:

2. If you don’t have a blog, you can leave a Thankful Thoughts comment in the comment section.

3. You can show your Thankful Thoughts any way you like, as a list, a story, a vlog, as one word, one sentence or just a picture.
