Take It On Tuesday!

Now that I have recovered from the sickness, I am working on getting caught up with everything. The kids have managed to stay out of my way, and all play together nicely. They also played with every single toy in the house, and then left them all over the place. It is good to see they actually love their toys, but darn, it would be nice if they could pick something up. My first task tomorrow it going chase the kids around the house while we all clean up. First one done cleaning their room earns an extra 1/2 hour on the Wii Fit before homeschool. I am putting my money on E Nut.

The floor has been installed in the back closet, and the extra boxes of flooring moved out, now that closet is mine! I am going to be trying to figure out the best, cheapest way to set it up as a utility, mud closet to store the kids outside play gear, vacuum, steam cleaner, and stuff like that that has been piled up all over my pantry. After tomorrow, I won’t be tripping over it every time I walk into the pantry. That also means I get to organize my pantry too.

We need to do some serious catching up with homeschool this week. Wing Nut missed 2 days of lessons when he was sick, and E Nut took advantage of me taking care of his brother, and didn’t get much done either.

I have tons of dishes, and laundry to catch up on, and with any lucky I can get everything as least clean by the end of tomorrow. Especially the laundry. I used a monster pile of laundry to reach the very tippy top shelf in the pantry. Yes I did, and it is not the first time I have done that either. I am sure I will do it again in the future. I am not ashamed to say I have that much laundry. Annoyed, but not ashamed.

The last thing I need to take care of is the pencil that was drawn on the unfinished stairs. I haven’t even bothered to ask who drew all over the stairs or why. Sometimes you just have to walk away, and be thankful it was not sharpie all over the stairs. I am not ashamed to say that I love that the kids love to draw, and it doesn’t matter where.

So what projects are you taking on this week? Are you pulling out the power tools or the scrapbook?
