Thankful Thursday

Hard to believe it is Thursday already, this week is flying by! I am so ready for this weekend to get here.

I am SO Thankful for all of the help that we got for our Mended Little Hearts CHD Awareness Event and Fundraiser on Monday. And Thankful for all of the people that came and supported us and for the new families that we met.

I am Thankful for the amazing group of people on social networking sites who are Raising CHD Awareness this week! Everyone is doing such a great job, I hope that we have been able to help others know more about the number 1 birth defect.

I am Thankful for the awesome deal that I got at our local dent & bent store yesterday and that I was able to fill my fridge and freezer with tons of food for very little cost!

I am Thankful that we have made it this far into the week and none of us have gotten sick.

I am Thankful for even the smallest amount of snow that we got last night. It was just enough to excite the kids and cover up the muddy mess that this winter has become.

I am Thankful for a few good nights sleep and going to bed early. I have even been too tired to read a book that I believe is the worst book I have ever read, but can’t put down. There is a book review coming at the of the book. I am still waiting for it to turn around and be something worth reading, but so far, it’s not happening for me.

As always, I am Thankful for my happy, healthy, wild little beasties that run around my house all day long driving me crazy, I am Thankful that we still have a roof over our heads and for our wonderfully supportive group of friends and family and all the ways they help us.

So what are you Thankful for today? It is so easy to join in and tell everyone.

Here is how Thankful Thursdays works:

1. Post your Thankful Thoughts on your blog. Somewhere in your post please mention The Nut House and/or ourhappynuthouse.com so that your friends, family and visitors know where to find other Thankful Thoughts. You can also grab my Thankful Thursdays banner and link to that. Once you have done that you can come back here and add your post to Inlinkz.

Not every one has a blog, so:

2. If you don’t have a blog, you can leave a Thankful Thoughts comment in the comment section.

3. You can show your Thankful Thoughts any way you like, as a list, a story, a vlog, as one word, one sentence or just a picture.
