Thankful Thursday

Happy Thursday!

It is a BEAUTIFUL day at The Nut House. Really, I mean, gorgeous, better than I thought it would be . There are several Cardinals outside the classroom window right now, and they have been hopping around in the Dogwoods all day.

Windows are open, the heat is turned off, and the kids are on their way outside.

It is 69 degrees!

Don’t hate me, I just live my life, I don’t make the weather.

My life just happens to include a beyond normal high temperature for the middle of February. I was so excited last night that I had a hard time falling asleep thinking about it.

I have to say I am pretty excited about it. I love snow. I love love love it! But winters in the Shenandoah Valley don’t produce enough snow to make those frigid days worth it.

It even smells like Spring. I know it is not, but this is all working very much to my advantage.

Homeschool moved along quickly. The babies are sitting in their highchairs with a snack in front of open windows checking out the birds, and squirrels hanging out in the front yard, and I have some very hard playing big kids who are hopefully going to go to bed early tonight, and crash hard!

All of this warm weather has me full of motivation as well!

I even took down the Christmas Tree this morning, and took a shower! I also cleaned the kitchen, and got some laundry done. All while I was feeding the kids breakfast.

I am super, beyond the moon and back, Thankful for the beautiful weather we are having this week!

As always, I am Thankful for my happy, healthy, wild little beasties that run around my house all day long driving me crazy, I am Thankful that we still have a roof over our heads and for our wonderfully supportive group of friends and family and all the ways they help us.

So what are you Thankful for today? It is so easy to join in and tell everyone.

Here is how Thankful Thursdays works:

1. Post your Thankful Thoughts on your blog. Somewhere in your post please mention The Nut House and/or ourhappynuthouse.com so that your friends, family and visitors know where to find other Thankful Thoughts. You can also grab my Thankful Thursdays banner and link to that. Once you have done that you can come back here and add your post to Inlinkz.

Not every one has a blog, so:

2. If you don’t have a blog, you can leave a Thankful Thoughts comment in the comment section.

3. You can show your Thankful Thoughts any way you like, as a list, a story, a vlog, as one word, one sentence or just a picture.

It was a beautiful day today, I agree. I even saw a few tulips peeking up from the ground at the zoo.
Next week I will have to remember to put a link to your site in my Thankful Thursdays post… Mental note to self…

I never made it out front today where our bulbs are to check for the tulips & crocus tips. We don’t have anything out back yet, I know it will be any day though 🙂

I would love it if you joined me next week 🙂
