Dinner Menu Plan for the Week

I have been meaning to get back into menu planning for the week. I hate those nights when I realized it is a half hour to dinner and I have no idea what to make. I have been organizing my kitchen and pantry for the past couple of months…and yes that is really how long it takes me to get things done around here, lol. Something always comes up and before I get it finished I am on to something else.

One of the things I have been working on is creating space where I can see most of my food in a quick glance. When everything is put away and tucked away I don’t always remember what I have. The way I have been organizing things, have a much better view of everything and I always see it and I don’t have to dig through my cupboards to come up with a meal.

This week dinner menu is already planned out, and because I could see everything it only took me a few minutes. One of these days, I might even make a compete menu with breakfast, lunch, dinner & snacks. One day. Not today.

Monday:

Tuesday:

  • Crock Pot Mac & Cheese (leftovers)
  • Ground Turkey Meatloaf
  • Steamed Broccoli
  • Apple Slices

Wednesday:

  • Ground Turkey Meatloaf (leftovers)
  • Smashed Potatoes
  • Spinach & Tomato Salad
  • Steamed Mixed Veggies

Thursday:

  • Marinated Chicken Breast
  • Tater Tots
  • Spinach & Tomato Salad
  • Apple Slices

Friday:

  • Homemade Pizza
  • Leftover Chicken Breast

Saturday:

  • Ground Turkey BBQ Meatballs
  • Steamed Corn
  • Homemade Breadsticks

Sunday:

  • Ground Turkey Meatballs

Yummy!

I love having a menu plan. I don’t always follow it exactly, things happen, but knowing I have a plan makes things so much less hectic.

I have been keeping my menu plan in my head, it wasn’t working so well. This week is so much easier writing it down again!
