Whole Wheat Calzones

I haven’t made calzones in years! For some reason I had a craving for them today. This was the first time I used almost all whole wheat flour, usually I used a mix of bread flour, whole wheat and white. I also never made them for a a family of 7 before and had to work on the recipe a bit. I am over the top excited at how well the dough turned out and how delish they were!

I don’t have the recipe done yet, instead of typing that up this evening, I hung out with the kids and watched recorded episodes of Wipeout. I am so glad that John Henson hosts that show, lol! I used to love him on Talk Soup. Anytime I can expose my kids to the quirky humor of John Henson, I will take that opportunity.

I will share the recipe tomorrow though 🙂 It will be posted in my recipe section, Feeding The Nut House.
