Ten Things Tuesday

This weeks has already been a productive one. The rainy weather kind of makes me want to curl up on the couch, but mostly I am feeling super motivated!

Ten things I have already done this week.

  1. Broke in my new sewing machine & made 4 cloth napkins so far.
  2. Crocheted 1 kitchen wash cloth and almost finished another.
  3. Washed, folded and put away 1 load of laundry.
  4. Started using the best handwriting software evah! And printed up several lessons for yesterday that combine handwriting practice with spelling, history and preschool.
  5. Cleaned and organized the classroom.
  6. Ordered and received new cute little paper bags with handles for our Mended Little Hearts food bags.
  7. Did some more organizing in my office and emptied out 2 more medium sized bins. Some things got tossed, some put away & some donated.
  8. Managed to clean the kitchen twice so far this week!
  9. Started cleaning out the pantry/laundry room of all non-food or non-laundry items. Packing up useless to use items for the Goodwill.
  10. Mixed up some nice seedling starter so we can finally get our veggie seeds planted! Yee Haw!

So what are you working on this week?

Keeping busy so I don’t have to think too much about Owain’s surgery in June.

What was your recipe for spritzer? I love lavender! I think my favorite mix is lavender and vanilla πŸ™‚

Dang you’re good. I tried a new essential oil recipe in my latest batch of room spritzer. I nearly finished a produce sack in my sons favorite colors. I have kept my office clean for 2 whole days, and that is about all I have accomplished! And now, its Wednesday!

My new machine is a self threader! I don’t think I even noticed that until I got it home πŸ™‚ I so love it! Took me awhile to figure it out, but once I figured out that there is a little hook that needs to catch the thread, it is so nice! How old is your machine? Maybe the little hookie thing is broke off or bent or something.
