I am Not as Strong as I appear. I enjoy weakness from time to time. We are a homeschooling, special needs family of 6. My 4th son has a Congenital Heart defect, and my oldest has ADHD. I am a survivor of Adultery and mental abuse. I learned that you never really know someone until you are strong enough to stand up and walk away. I love and protect my children, with everything I have. My life might seem unbelievable, but I couldn't make this shit up if I tried! Stick around & let's get to know each other.

Conquering The Learning Curve and Saying Goodbye to Income

This is the first freelance article I wrote about 5 years ago, back when the Yahoo! Contributor Network was Associated Content and before I started writing for eHow. This was also before I started blogging full time and only wrote a few posts a year randomly. Today is the last day that eHow will...

Remembering The Day Owain Came Home For the First Time

May 29, 2008 was one of the best days of my life. After close to 4 weeks in the hospital, after being told over and over that he could go home, only to be kept another day, we brought Owain home.   It was such a surreal feeling. I was starting to feel like...

Love Hate Super Annoyed

This week has been a hard one for me. The past few days I have had a hard time holding on to happiness. I have found myself thinking in terms of Hate a lot this week. Like, “I hate it when my kids pee all over the floor”, when I normally think, “this is...

Have I Ever Mentioned?

Have I Ever Mentioned?

Little Nut Nut likes to sleep in his tent. In his bedroom. On a bed made of all the extra blankets we have. And he loves it.

10 Things Tuesday

I had hopes and plans for this week. With 5 sick kids, none of it is getting done. As frustrating as it is, I am OK with it. The 3 big kids have had high fevers since last night and when I thought Owee’s had gone down, it came back. Honey Nut had the...

Monday, You Did Not Let Me Down.

After our awesome 1 hour family Wii Fit workout yesterday, Mr Wall Nut and I decided that we were going to start getting up at 5am to workout. We have been talking about it for months and were so close when daylight savings time messed up my schedule. Yes. I am still bitter, and...

Things My Kids Destroy {4} My New Sheets

I am not sure how Honey Nut and Wee Nut got into my bedroom today, the gate to my studio was closed (or so I thought!) and no one is allowed in our bedroom, or my studio. We walk through my studio to get to our bedroom, so there was all sorts of naughty...

How to Make a Upside Down Tomato Planter with Flowers

I promised that I would share how I make my DIY upside-down tomato planter, so today I managed to get everything together and vlog about it. There are many different ways to make these, I have seen 5 gallon buckets, gallon milk jugs, heavy duty plastic bags and all sorts of random things like...
