I am Not as Strong as I appear. I enjoy weakness from time to time. We are a homeschooling, special needs family of 7. My 4th son has a Congenital Heart defect, and my oldest has ADHD. We like to find old things and make them new, so we bought a house that was in desperate need of repair, then we doubled the sized of it. This project is well over 9 years long, with still plenty to do, and has pushed my fear of heights over the limit too many times. The best part is I am still alive to talk about it! Some of my passions are my children, and making Jewelry. When life gets stressful (often times stress induced by children!) opening up my bins of beads to create something beautiful that will soon bring joy to someone else is all I need. That and chocolate. I am just hanging on by the seat of my pants. Stick around & let's get to know each other.
My parents are here are visiting for Owain’s birthday and we had some cake and ice cream and of course presents 
His actual birthday is on Tuesday the 3rd and today we kicked off his birthday week. While I had the kids all dressed up looking sharp, I thought I would try to get a good photo of them. Even with the help of Mr Wall Nut and my parents, it was no small event. I managed to get a few that are actually worth saving. This one here is one of the best ones.

In Owain's 4 short years, he has had 3 Open Heart Surgeries, and 1 surgery to place Pacemaker wires on both his upper and lower heart. He is looking at a lifetime of surgeries to replace the Pacemaker batteries. Hopefully that is all he will need, but we live our lives Praying for the Best while being Prepared for the Worst.
I love the picture and can appreciate the work it took to get 5 kids to sit still enough. I have a hard time getting my 3 boys to sit together for one. Tell everyone we said hi and give all the kids hugs and kisses.
Haha! Remember how easy it was to get pictures of them when they were babies…most of the time they were sleeping, and who doesn’t love a sleeping baby
