I am Not as Strong as I appear. I enjoy weakness from time to time. We are a homeschooling, special needs family of 6. My 4th son has a Congenital Heart defect, and my oldest has ADHD. I am a survivor of Adultery and mental abuse. I learned that you never really know someone until you are strong enough to stand up and walk away. I love and protect my children, with everything I have. My life might seem unbelievable, but I couldn't make this shit up if I tried! Stick around & let's get to know each other.

Special Mother’s Day Parade from My Little Nuts

Every once in awhile, the kids managed to pull something out of their little brains that not only makes me smile and giggle, but also pushes back both dinner time and bed time. It’s like they know if they do something special for me that they can get away with anything. Kinda like the other day when I was frantically doing a several things at once and all of them needed to be done yesterday. They were giggling and whispering away in the kitchen, I really thought that they were cleaning the kitchen, but no. They came charging in to my office telling me they had a surprise for me, I was actually surprised to find out that they did not clean the kitchen, but instead they got out everything that I needed  to make them Heart shaped eggs with toast. As much as I wanted to tell them I didn’t really have time to make them Heart Shaped eggs and toast after I already told them that I really REALLY needed to get some work done, I couldn’t. I grumbled to myself and smiled at the kids and made them a special breakfast…for the 3rd time that day.

Tonight, dinner was already late and moments away from being done when I received news that there was to be a Special Mother’s Day Parade, music and all. I really REALLY wanted to tell them to sit down, eat there dinner and get in bed, but I grumbled to myself and grabbed the camera. If you think you can handle 4 minutes of my kids playing toy instruments, then boy is this video for you! It comes complete with a high stepping Honey Nut, high pitched flutes, a soggy bottomed little boy and Mr Wall Nut playing guitar. Enjoy :)

It’s experiencing life moment by moment like this that you receive and recognize God’s blessings! :)
