I am Not as Strong as I appear. I enjoy weakness from time to time. We are a homeschooling, special needs family of 6. My 4th son has a Congenital Heart defect, and my oldest has ADHD. I am a survivor of Adultery and Domestic Abuse. I learned that you never really know someone until you are strong enough to stand up and walk away. I love and protect my children, with everything I have.

Fun Friday Photos – Christmas Vacation

Tunnel to go with tent for kids.

I wanted to get a good picture of the presents that I wrapped from different recycled materials, but I completely forgot. Santa brings presents in Santa paper, and there were presents under the tree from my parents, my brother. This year, I used a lot of recycled packing paper and decorated with crayons and...

Oh The Things I Do

For the majority of the past month, our house has been a sick one, and I don’t think it is going to end anytime soon. I think it actually started just over a month ago when Wee Nut got croup again and E Nut was home sick. E Nut ended up with strep a...

The Story of the 2nd November Surprise, and She Nut’s 4 Month Check Up

Last week I took She Nut in for her 4 month well baby visit. I can’t believe that she is 4 months old already! Her excessive drooling makes me wonder if she is teething already and she is ready to start trying out a bit of rice cereal mixed with breast milk. Yumm! She...

Laundry Laundry Laundry Laundry LAUNDRY!

I swear, our family of 7 produces enough laundry for 20 people. I can’t believe how much laundry we have. I do 2-4 loads of laundry a day. Every. Day. Not including cloth diapers, and washing a load of diapers is so much easier than running to the store to get a case of...

Postpartum Depression: Mama’s Losin’ It

When I think of Postpartum Depression, I always think of moms who can’t bring themselves to care for their children, who are just not happy after the birth of their baby. I never thought of it as general confusion or crankiness. And I never thought after 4 kids that I would have it with...

At this time, I have one public school Nut, one Homeschooled Nut and one Little Nut Nut in Preschool. They all have different schedules, which can get hectic and overwhelming.
