No I am NOT a Miniature and if you stop taking my picture there will be no way to prove that I am!

I had to check the actual day to make sure it was in fact Wednesday. It is. Then I was gonna do a Wordless Wednesday post, but then I realized that I haven’t taken hardly any pictures of anyone in MONTHS. What I did find was hundreds of photos from our pre-surgery Hershey Park...Keep Reading Here »

Hershey Park Pre Fontan Mini Scrambler

Looking back at this past summer, I remember the both the fear of Owain’s upcoming surgery and the excitement of our pre-surgery vacation to Hershey Park. I could do without the fear, but I sure could use a vacation from life right now.Keep Reading Here »

Hershey Park 2011 1

I just realized that today is Friday. That means that we are only 1 week a way from Owain’s surgery. Today though, we had a great time at the park, such a great time that I didn’t even think about what day it was once. I took hundreds of photos, way too many to...Keep Reading Here »

Welcome to Hershey!

June 17, 2011

The card with our name on it was a fun surprise and a hint that it was more than complementary Hershey chocolates. What could it be!?

We haven’t even made it to the park yet and we are having a great time already! We are enjoying time together, time in the pool  and time forgetting about everything that has been weighing so heavily on us. When we checked into our room yesterday there was a little package waiting for us....Keep Reading Here »

I Love Me a Sprinkler Kind Of Day

June 12, 2011
By
Sprinklers, little pools and sand Oh My!

There was so much to do today. Dishes, laundry, the floors, the bathrooms, pretty much the whole house needed to get cleaned before we go on vacation on Thursday. I started my day with coffee and every intention of avoiding all things involving cleaning. Instead I spent the day with the 2 younger kids...Keep Reading Here »

Why Yes, They Are Dead. Are You Surprised?

June 8, 2011

A few months ago, E Nut pulled some already sprouted apple seeds from his apple and insisted that we plant them. It was something that I talked my way out of for years, but there was no way I could say no to him when they were already starting to sprout.Keep Reading Here »

May 21, 2011

I promised that I would share how I make my DIY upside-down tomato planter, so today I managed to get everything together and vlog about it. There are many different ways to make these, I have seen 5 gallon buckets, gallon milk jugs, heavy duty plastic bags and all sorts of random things like...Keep Reading Here »

Random Thoughts from a Tired Mama

May 18, 2011

I have looked back over some of my posts from the past few days and they seem to be a bit rambly (if that is a word) and may or may not make any sense. Somehow I am am OK with that, lol. So in keeping up with tired rambling I need to share...Keep Reading Here »

Thankful Thursday Spring Summer 2011

Happy Thursday Y’all! Today I am Thankful for sunny skies, baby grass and an evening watching E Nut play baseball. My Little Owee turned 3 the other day and I am Thankful for every day I get to spend with him, terrifying 3′s temper tantrums and all! Much to my surprise, many of the...Keep Reading Here »

Thank you for praying!

Praying for Owain

After his Fontan on June 24th he went home after 6 days! Now we are back in the hospital waiting for fluid to stop draining from around his right lung.

Little Nut Nut

Little Nut Nut

Little Nut Nut is my 5 year old boy genius and totally freaks me out with the things he can do. What type of child learns to read at 3 years old?!? He is his Big Brothers shadow and wants to do what ever they do. He doesn't have any trouble letting everyone around here know what he thinks, has no inner voice and talks non-stop all day long. If he thinks it, he says it. He says things like "I love life" and "I am made of Awesome" and always makes me smile, even when I don't want to.

Wing Nut

E Nut

My Wing Nut, 10 years old, is my first born and is a Lego Fanatic. He talks in his sleep about "interesting number combinations" and insists that he is going to work for Lego when he grows up. From the moment he gets the current issue of Lego magazine in the mail, he anticipates the arrival of the next one. He has crazy mood swings, has recently been diagnosed with ADHD but I am not so sure that is correct. He is considered Failure to Thrive and I struggle everyday to get him to gain weight, he keeps getting taller, but not gaining any weight. I think if we can figure out why he his Failure to Thrive, his ADHD will go away.
