I am Not as Strong as I appear. I enjoy weakness from time to time. We are a homeschooling, special needs family of 6. My 4th son has a Congenital Heart defect, and my oldest has ADHD. I am a survivor of Adultery and mental abuse. I learned that you never really know someone until you are strong enough to stand up and walk away. I love and protect my children, with everything I have. My life might seem unbelievable, but I couldn't make this shit up if I tried! Stick around & let's get to know each other.

101 Reasons Why I Homeschool: ADHD? {3}

The question mark after the diagnosis of ADHD is really how I feel about my oldest son Wing Nut’s situation. When it comes down it, I am really not sure I believe that is what he has. He has many of the classic symptoms of ADHD, but on top of that he has also...

101 Reasons Why I Homeschool: Going to Bed Early is No Fun {2}

Sometimes You Just Have to Give up and Walk Away

Colonial Williamsburg Homeschool Home Education Experience Three big brothers in the garden 1

When we went to Colonial Williamsburg in last month for the Homeschool Experience, I thought I would be able to get some good photos of the kids. They were looking at some old school style tools from “back then” and I thought that was the perfect time.

Homeschool Room Makeover Organizing the Curriculums and Closet

Homeschool Room Makeover Organizing my Teaching Space

Last year I just taught my oldest Nut and it wasn’t that big of a deal to have just 1 child’s curriculums to organize. I had a small space that I created in my office, but it still ended up all over the house. This year I took 3 shelf units from our bedroom...

Homeschool Room Makeover After the Walls are Repaired and Painted

Homeschool Room Makeover Organizing my Teaching Space

It took us 5 years to finally finish caulking around the windows, fill in the nail holes and paint the trim and the baseboards. The Classroom was Wing Nut’s bedroom for 7 years, E Nut’s bedroom for over 5 years and Little Nut Nut’s room for 2 years. Have you ever noticed that sometimes...
