I am Not as Strong as I appear. I enjoy weakness from time to time. We are a homeschooling, special needs family of 6. My 4th son has a Congenital Heart defect, and my oldest has ADHD. I am a survivor of Adultery and mental abuse. I learned that you never really know someone until you are strong enough to stand up and walk away. I love and protect my children, with everything I have. My life might seem unbelievable, but I couldn't make this shit up if I tried! Stick around & let's get to know each other.

Working on the Addition and Family Workout

After opening up our addition in June of last year, we took a break from the constant work. It was getting to be too much physically, emotionally and financially. It was nice to take some time off, but now it is getting to the point where it is getting annoying that it is still...

Meet Maria Dobsonfly

You might remember last summer when I talked about the Dobsonfly that I found outside our back door. I have never seen anything like this thing before. I have lived in this house for over 7 years and I never heard of them either. I guess that they live near water and come out...

101 Reasons Why I Homeschool: ADHD? {3}

The question mark after the diagnosis of ADHD is really how I feel about my oldest son Wing Nut’s situation. When it comes down it, I am really not sure I believe that is what he has. He has many of the classic symptoms of ADHD, but on top of that he has also...

101 Reasons Why I Homeschool: Going to Bed Early is No Fun {2}

Believe me, at the end of most days, I am ready to put the kids in bed. Very often I am ready to put them to bed around 10am…but somehow I manage to make it through those days with chocolate and the knowledge that the day will eventually come to an end. On the...
