Hi!
I hear you are following me on Blog Frog! Welcome to Empowered Peace, my name is Chaplain Donna and just so you can connect my name and website/blog, here is my URL: http://www.empoweredpeace.org
I enjoyed looking at your site, it is very informative! I will certainly be following you. Please consider “liking” my facebook page also, Empowered Peace. I look forward to getting to know you.
Blessings,
Chaplain Donna
Nice to meet you Donna!
My name is Candice and I write the Caring Bridge site for baby Nahayla. I googled the site name in order to come up with a list of those who have been supportive of this sweet baby girl in the past and came up with your name. Nahayla’s family has again received devastating news and she could use your prayers and support again now, more than ever.
Would you consider visiting her site at http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/prayfornahayla and supporting her mother, Corina, with an encouraging word? Could you find it in your heart to share her story on your blog, facebook, etc. or with you “real life” friends and family? Please keep an eye out for her new site http://www.prayfornahayla.com which should be up soon.
I am attempting to organize a new round of support and hopefully some type of benefit here locally to help with this new journey. I am paying for all fundraising / support efforts out of my own pocket and I have absolutely nothing to gain in this process other than trying to not feel completely helpless as my dear friend’s baby girl fights for her life.
We desperately need your love, support but most of all prayer.
Thank you,
Candice in Tennessee
I am on a Homeschool vacation now, but I will check out Nahayla’s site as soon as I can! I am sending her and her family big, big prayers!
Love your website! Lots of great information! I’ll be following.

Thanks Forever Mummy! I hope that I am helping other women, that is a huge part of why write
Hey Lisa, I love reading Thankful Thursday – so take a look at FB so you can see our thanks tonight. Granddad loved skyping with the wild beasties last week end, so let us know if we can do that again soon! Hugs and kisses to everyone!
Will do! They had a great time
Hi! I just saw the link posted to your blog on facebook by another heartmom. I LOVE your blog. I call our house the Nut house too. I have 3 boys and 1 girl who just turned six months. My youngest boy who is about to turn 2 was born with a CHD. Hope things with Owain get better soon.
I wanted to say I enjoyed your blog. I stumbled across it when googled ADHD and homeschooling. My 6 year old is showing signs of it and I already homeschool so I was looking for what other moms have found that works for there children. I also have a child with congenital heart disease. My daughter is 4 and was born with Transposition of the great arteries. She has had 2 open heart surgeries and 6 caths. She has 3 stents in her pulmonary arteries. This is because she not only had the TGA but abnormal anatomy. Her pulmonary artery is 2-3 time larger than her aorta thus causing severe pulmonary stenosis. She also only has one coronary artery. Right now we are waiting for her to out grow the stents. Once this happens she will have her 3rd open heart for reconstruction. I truly enjoyed your blogging about you journey because it is it uplifting and encouraging to other heart mama’s who are struggling to get through the day. I too get crazy anxiety when we got to the clinic every 6 months for our check ups as I know any time might be the day to book the OR. Thank you for sharing about you oldest as well. I was encouraged to see that homeschooling has worked well for you and it has helped me to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I know there will be big bumps but I’m encouraged by the success of other mama’s that have gone down the path before me. Thanks again for your openess on what it at times are hard things to talk about. Many blessings
Faye
Thank you Faye! I have learned that there are more bumps in some parts of the road than in others. I guess all we can do is hang on tight while flying over the bumps and enjoy the smooth ride when it comes.
I am going to check out your blog, I would like to try to stay in touch with you <3
I look forward to future connection. I don’t have many with other heart mama’s. I live in a small town on Vancouver Island BC Canada and it’s hard to connect with the heart Mom’s group an hour away. Blogs can be such a great way to connect with others. Talk to you again,
Faye
