I am Not as Strong as I appear. I enjoy weakness from time to time. We are a homeschooling, special needs family of 6. My 4th son has a Congenital Heart defect, and my oldest has ADHD. I am a survivor of Adultery and mental abuse. I learned that you never really know someone until you are strong enough to stand up and walk away. I love and protect my children, with everything I have. My life might seem unbelievable, but I couldn't make this shit up if I tried! Stick around & let's get to know each other.

Weigh-Day for Wing Nut

Three weeks ago when we started Wing Nut on Periactin, I definitely had hopes that he would be gaining some weight. I was thinking that he would gain a few pounds a month and it would be a gradual increase. When we weighed him after the first 10 days and he gained just over...

Mended Little Hearts of Charlottesville’s main purpose is to really focus on inpatient families at UVa. We Still Have Apple Trees!

We Still Have Apple Trees!

I think we started out with 4 baby apple seedlings In January. And all 4 of them did well for awhile. I forgot to water them for too long and we lost a few. So sad. And then there were 2. But they are getting bigger and growing tons of leaves. I am really...

Another Lego Fanatic

Another Lego Fanatic

E Nut has gotten in on the Lego party. I signed him up for the Lego Club for Christmas and he started getting his Lego magazines and catalogs. Now just like Wing Nut, he studies them and follows me around the house all day telling me all about the newest sets and his newest...

Happy Thursday Y’all! What a fabulous week we have been having! Wing Nut is still gaining weight. He also has a much better attitude, is less impulsive and more agreeable. E Nut has a new obsession with keeping my tea cup full of tea. So while the kids are still waking us up in...

It is several hours past bedtime, all 4 of her big brothers are tucked in and have been asleep for awhile already. Do you think Honey Nut is interested in sleeping? Of course not! At the moment she is sitting on the couch next to Mr Wall Nut listening to her Violet sing songs...
