I am Not as Strong as I appear. I enjoy weakness from time to time. We are a homeschooling, special needs family of 6. My 4th son has a Congenital Heart defect, and my oldest has ADHD. I am a survivor of Adultery and mental abuse. I learned that you never really know someone until you are strong enough to stand up and walk away. I love and protect my children, with everything I have. My life might seem unbelievable, but I couldn't make this shit up if I tried! Stick around & let's get to know each other.

Working on the Addition and Family Workout

After opening up our addition in June of last year, we took a break from the constant work. It was getting to be too much physically, emotionally and financially. It was nice to take some time off, but now it is getting to the point where it is getting annoying that it is still...

Dance Baby Dance!

We finally got the new Just Dance 2 last weekend. We’ve been having a great time playing Wii and the kids have been playing Wii Fit with me, but most of the active games that we have are 1 player. With Wii Fit, we have to take turns playing. I love the Mario Cart...

It is obvious that I have had a hard time keeping up with not only remembering that I said that I wouldn’t drop the ball on this project again this year, but actually finding the time to work out. Now that none of us have strep or croup and our Mended Little Hearts CHD...

Get Fit With Wii Fit

So I am guessing that you realize that today is not Sunday, but since I got lost in the hospital time warp, I forgot to post my Sunday Check In. Thankfully Karen from Turn My Life Around reminded me I am full of guilt over the fact that I didn’t manage to get on...

Home Sweet Home

We are so happy that we got to bring Owee home from the hospital today! It seems so much longer than one day, and I think it is going to take me a lot longer than one day to catch up on my lack of sleep. But the important thing is that we are...

I hope y’all had a much better Wii Fit week than I did. If you have been keeping up with The Nut House, you know that most of us have strep. Little Nut Nut fell pray to it just today. That is 6 down and 1 to go. I will be surprised if E...

Get Fit With Wii Fit

Today is the first day of Get Fit with Wii Fit check in! Since I just announced this the other day, I understand if there is nothing to add today. Today’s check in is mostly a trial run to see how I would like to do this. If you want to share your goals,...

Random Thoughts

Do you ever get that feeling that if you slow down and try to relax for too long that some sort of sickness will creep in, just when you let your guard down? That has happened to me twice in the past 2 weeks. The first time happened the day my parents went home...

Get Fit With Wii Fit

I don’t know if y’all remember last year when I was talking about my Wii Fit. I came up with the idea of doing a weekly check in with support during the week for anyone who wanted to join me. I love my Wii Fit. My kids love my the Wii Fit too. My...

Get Fit with the Wii Fit

We got the Wii Fit for this past Christmas. We tried to get it last year but it was sold out everywhere, so my mom got it around August or September last year. I have to say I Love This Thing!!! Really, I figured the kids would use it way more than I would,...
