I am Not as Strong as I appear. I enjoy weakness from time to time. We are a homeschooling, special needs family of 7. My 4th son has a Congenital Heart defect, and my oldest has ADHD. We like to find old things and make them new, so we bought a house that was in desperate need of repair, then we doubled the sized of it. This project is well over 9 years long, with still plenty to do, and has pushed my fear of heights over the limit too many times. The best part is I am still alive to talk about it! Some of my passions are my children, and making Jewelry. When life gets stressful (often times stress induced by children!) opening up my bins of beads to create something beautiful that will soon bring joy to someone else is all I need. That and chocolate. I am just hanging on by the seat of my pants. Stick around & let's get to know each other.
In case you are wondering, and missed the news last week, we are actually home If feels so good. And a bit lonely. And very quiet! And Owain had a clinic appointment with peds cardiology yesterday and there is no fluid building up since we have been home! *doing some serious amounts of cartwheels*

This is the post that I was working on weeks ago when I was in labor. I started it in the morning and then I floated through the rest of the day(early labor had me in a daze). Then when I was trying to keep busy during labor I tried to finish it. I would have had it posted before we had to leave for the hospital, but my camera is overloaded with pictures and takes forever to load. By the time I found the pictures, William was reminding me that we need to get to the hospital…and he was right.

From July 20-21
William gave the inspector a call first thing this morning and they came out right away. Will was still finishing up one final thing when they got here. Everything was spot on & we passed inspection the very first time!
How exciting is that!?!
Everything has been moving along so slowly for months and now that the electrical is finished, we can move on. Will is out installing insulation over the covered patio right now! Above the patio is two bedrooms.
We are going to hang the drywall on the ceiling on the second floor and blow in the insulation in the attic space. After that we get to hang the dry wall on the walls. This is starting to get really exciting! I think we are going to try to finish off at least one of the bathrooms first. Three boys and two adults are using one small bathroom and it will be so nice to be able to have another bathroom…and it will be even better when we have three! Yippie.

In Owain's 4 short years, he has had 3 Open Heart Surgeries, and 1 surgery to place Pacemaker wires on both his upper and lower heart. He is looking at a lifetime of surgeries to replace the Pacemaker batteries. Hopefully that is all he will need, but we live our lives Praying for the Best while being Prepared for the Worst.
