Thankful Thursday

I can’t believe how quick this past week has gone! Getting settled back into the school year, and homeschooling is coming along slowly, but hopefully we will get the hang of it soon.

This week has been full of setbacks, forgotten appointments (remembered at the last minute!) and sleepless nights. I am tired, cranky, overworked and underpaid, but I love my family and today is the day to step back from the chaos and look at what we have.

I am so very very Thankful for coffee, and more coffee.

I am Thankful for baby swings, bouncy seats and car seats – without them I would never get any sleep. Cheers to whoever created the nursing pillow, I sure wish I would have gotten one of these things with my other 4 kids – Thank you to the great creator of the nursing pillow, my back and shoulders thank you as well.

I am Thankful that I just noticed that my First grader left his school picture envelope at home, and I have just enough time to get this posted and get to school to drop it off before pictures.

…so with that unscheduled errand, I am out of here for a bit. As always I am Thankful for my wonderful group of friends and family and all they do for us. I am Thankful that Owain is continuing to do well and seems to be settling in to being more active, he is still dusky and a bit blue on his fingers and toes, but his breathing doesn’t seem to be so labored. I am Thankful that my kids are healthy,  and that we have a roof over our heads.

So what are you Thankful for today? It is so easy to join in and tell everyone.

Here is how Thankful Thursdays works:

1. Post your Thankful Thoughts on your blog. Somewhere in your post please mention The Nut House and http://ourhappynuthouse.com/ so that your friends, family and visitors know where to find other Thankful Thoughts. You can also grab my Thankful Thursdays banner at the top of this post and link to that. Once you have done that you can come back here and add your post to MckLinky.

Not everyone has a blog, so:

2. If you don’t have a blog, you can leave a Thankful Thoughts comment in the comment section.

3. You can show your Thankful Thoughts any way you like, as a list, as a story, as one word, one sentence or just a picture. Have fun!
