Happy Thursday everyone! Only one more day until the weekend, and boy am I Thankful for that! We have had a snow filled week at The Nut House. Monday school was canceled due to snow, Tuesday we had a 2 hour delay with a 1 hour early dismissal due to more snow and we are gearing up for another 18 inches of snow tomorrow. I am so Thankful to finally get a winter full of snow. Eight years of bitter cold winters in the Shenandoah Valley with hardly any snow was really starting to get irritating!
We have gotten some good work done on the addition in the past week or so. Finishing up the drywall, and getting primer on all of the walls. We are almost to the point where we can tear down the wall from the back of the original house to the new addition. That is going to be a huge project that pretty much involves packing up the most of the house, and sectioning off the back couple of rooms in the original house. I am Thankful that we are getting so close!
I didn’t get much done this week, and my house is a disaster, but I am Thankful for Zoloft, and hot tea to get me through my day when things start getting too confusing around here.
Nutella is such a good thing to have around the house and I am so Thankful for spoonfuls of Chocolatey Hazelnut goodness!
As always, I am Thankful for my happy, healthy, wild little beasties that run around my house all day long driving me crazy, I am Thankful that have a roof over our heads and for our wonderfully supportive group of friends and family and all the ways they help us.
Here is how Thankful Thursdays works:
1. Post your Thankful Thoughts on your blog. Somewhere in your post please mention The Nut House and http://ourhappynuthouse.com/ so that your friends, family and visitors know where to find other Thankful Thoughts. You can also grab my Thankful Thursdays banner and link to that. Once you have done that you can come back here and add your post to MckLinky.
Not everyone has a blog, so:
2. If you don’t have a blog, you can leave a Thankful Thoughts comment in the comment section.
3. You can show your Thankful Thoughts any way you like, as a list, as a story, as one word, one sentence or just a picture. Have fun!
