My brain is complete mush this week. I am Thankful that the weeks is almost over, I am ready for a relaxing weekend with the kids!
I have not been sleeping very well this week, lots of anxiety and restless nights tossing and turning because I can’t turn my brain off. I’m very Thankful to start my day with coffee and Nutella!
We just had a wicked storm roll through. It was way worse than the one we had last week. Our power was out for a while, and then it was on and off for a while too. I had to laugh at myself when I tried to use the internet without power. When the power went out I lost my wireless internet, and I couldn’t connect to it for hours. Boo! One of these days I have to actually get wireless internet, but for now, I am Thankful that storm is over, power is back on, everyone is safe, and I am connected to the internet.
As always, I am Thankful for my happy, healthy, wild little beasties that run around my house all day long driving me crazy, I am Thankful that we have a roof over our heads and for our wonderfully supportive group of friends and family and all the ways they help us.
So what are you Thankful for today? It is so easy to join in and tell everyone.
Here is how Thankful Thursdays works:
1. Post your Thankful Thoughts on your blog. Somewhere in your post please mention The Nut House and/or ourhappynuthouse.com so that your friends, family and visitors know where to find other Thankful Thoughts. You can also grab my Thankful Thursdays banner and link to that. Once you have done that you can come back here and add your post to MckLinky.
Not everyone has a blog, so:
2. If you don’t have a blog, you can leave a Thankful Thoughts comment in the comment section.
3. You can show your Thankful Thoughts any way you like, as a list, a story, a vlog, as one word, one sentence or just a picture.
Have fun!
Happy Thursday Y’all! The weekend is almost here and for that I am…
It is weeks like this that I have an extra big appreciation for my ability…

I’m thankful that I have two more weeks before school starts. I’m just not ready yet.
On Mondays I participate in Ann Voskamp’s Gratitude Community at A Holy Experience. I love the idea of giving thanks on a regular basis. It keeps me focused ont the blessings.
May you have a beautiful weekend!

School starts so early these days! I am so glad that we decided to homeschool every one this year, I was never ready for the school year to start and all I did was count the days until vacation, lol. I decided to start the last week in August, that is also the first week in September.
Thankful Thursdays really help me to stay focused and positive. Some days I just want to give up and let my life fall apart around me, but when I force myself to stop and look at all the wonderful things I have around me, I end up feeling better more days than I feel down.
