I don’t know what kind of flower this is, but I thought it was pretty awesome looking! It was along the fence at the Gardens at Colonial Williamsburg. Anyone have any idea what the name of the flower is? Does it come in other colors, or just this vibrant pink?
What a crazy baby! Just after lunch she was sitting in the box of Mega…

We have always called them Surprise Lilies. They are amazing, they show no leaves, no way of sustaining themselves and yet every fall they show their beautiful faces all the sudden. I have several great photos from this years bumper crop.

Hi Hazel,
I found this flower on line. It says it is a Red Spider Lily. Great flower.

That’s a cool flower. I have no idea what it is, but my mom might know. I’ll ask her when I see her tonight.

I don’t know what it is, but it kind of looks like fireworks, eh? 🙂

I know, isn’t that so cool! It looks like it is exploding 🙂
