Honey Nut’s Dresser Gets Refinished {finished}

Yesterday I posted the before photos of Honey Nut’s dresser. Today she helped me get some photos of the dresser after it was refinished and up in her bedroom. And there are actually photos of her new bedroom! It is still pretty empty, but she spends most of her time downstairs hanging out with Wee Nut.

This is the crib I got her from Target long before I thought about refinishing her dresser.
The new finish looks so much like the crib color!
New large brushed copper draw pulls for the lower drawers.
Some smaller drawer pulls for the upper drawers.
Some smaller drawer pulls for the upper drawers.

Hanging out in a cute little chair from Grandma Nut. She got a super great deal at a yard sale or something. I want to say it was only $10-$15, but I can’t say for sure.
Honey Nut loves her dresser…and cute clothes and shoes and bags and all sort of pretty girlie things.
The dresser and the crib look awesome together!

    Hello! I want to Refinish my son’s crib my for daughter but i’m not sure what color to use.. Which one did u use? I love the color you used on the dresser..

      Thank you!! I don’t remember what color it was, I just threw away the empty can the other day cleaning out my paint closet. I think it was either Red Mahogany or Dark Walnut. I used up most of a little can of the Minwax brand.

    I love the color of the wood, and the brushed copper knobs are the way to go, in my opinion.

      Thanks Liz! When I started this project, I thought I would end up with brushed nickle knobs, but the brushed copper ones jumped out at me 🙂

    Oh, great job! Just changing out those old drawer pulls makes a huge difference. (I recently re-did a similar dresser.) Those things remind me of flying eagles. :o)
