The Tribe Floods the House

I didn’t even get a chance to really look at the photos of the mess that my kids made last night. They turned out much better than I thought. I love the look on E Nut’s face as he is rushing to get the water cleaned up.

Never a dull moment around here!

There are a few spots around walls that are still a bit damp, but for the most part I think things are dried up or mostly dried. When I went up there this morning the entire upstairs smelled like wet sub-flooring. It doesn’t smell at all tonight. We have had the heat on higher than usual since last night, and will keep it warmer for a few more days. I am really hoping that everything dries fast enough that the flooring doesn’t end up ruined or get musty or moldy.

I am guessing that if the kids dad was ever home, and I wasn’t so exhausted at the moment that I would be much more upset, and worried about all of this. But really, I am just hoping for the best, it is what it is and no sense worrying about what hasn’t happened yet.
