Full Basement Makeover Part 2 – Our DIY Home Remodel on a Budget

We are currently working on doubling the size of our home with a full basement remodel. We have a few places in the basement where water comes in when we get a good long rain. Before we can do anything in the basement, we need to get the basement dry. This is Day 2 working on the basement, we finished all the Demo that we are able to do ourselves. We live a cash only lifestyle, so we are fully funding all of our remodeling projects on a tight cash only budget. While we are working on doing most of the work ourselves, this project is a completely out of my comfort zone, so we are hiring this project out. We did as much of the demo as we could to help save on the total cost, and we are ready for the contractors to come in and get started with the water management.
