More Awards Received, Thank You, Thank You

Wow you all are making me feel like you really do read what I have to say. I may not be as Nuts as I originally thought. Does that make everyone who is giving me awards Nuts too? Haha, I think so! Well, thanks for joining me on this crazy ride and enjoying my thoughts enough to give me awards. Much appreciated.

Alright, I got 5 awards this time. They all come with rules, and from what I hear, rules are meant to be broken. Not sure where I heard that, probably from my little Nuts! I am not really sure how I am going to do this, I am just going to make this up as I go along. K?

From Helga over at My World I got the Heartfelt Blogger Award. This award is for bloggers who make you feel comfy or warm inside. How sweet! I guess that my postpartum depression isn’t seeping out and tainting my blog 🙂 Thanks so much Helga!

Here are the rules for this award…

These seem like pretty simple rules. Helga managed to write about how special every one is, why she gave them the award and say something nice. Helga and I are alike in that we both have 4 boys, but the difference between us is that I also have a little girl. I think I might be giving her ‘baby fever’. It is very contagious, so be careful, some of you out in the bloggy world might catch it too. My advice is don’t drink the water…or the wine.
Since I am receiving and giving away 5 awards, this is where the rules change. I will only be passing out the awards to as many bloggers as I have time for and can find in the next couple of minutes. K?

My next award is from Brianne over at Mommy’s Time. She is passing along the Lemonade Stand award. This award is for blogs with great attitude or gratitude. That is so sweet. At least this isn’t an award for bloggers with a great BIG attitude, that would be a whole different story. Some days I have to work harder than others to have a great attitude, but I find that gratitude in the face of struggles is the best way to get through the day. Except on those bury myself in a blanket kind of days, on those days I have a bad attitude, but I am working on it. Gratitude breeds great attitudes and I can work with that. Thanks Brianne!

The Kreativ Blogger award comes from Queen Dani over at The Misadventures of Queen Dani. The Kreativ Blogger award seems to be self explanatory, Queen Dani seems to think I am pretty creative to pass this on to me. I like to think that I am pretty creative, Miss Crafty, a Hot Glue Diva, whether or not I am any of those things is left up to my adoring fans to decide…no not really, just kidding…see I can also get creative with words. I guess that is why Queen Dani passed the Kreativ Blogger award to me. Queen Dani has a way with words herself and is a fabulous story teller. I love reading her stories. Thanks Dani!

OK, a few things that you may not know about me…Ghostbusters is one of my all time favorite movies, and I have seen it well over 200 times in the past 25 years since it came out. Seriously. There was a stint when I watched it every day for months on end. Ah, what a movie. I just watched it with the kids the other day. Is it too old for them? Probably, but there are some exceptions that just need to be made. Another thing you may not know about me, I have been blogging/journaling for over 4 years…but it really only got fun in the past 11 months when I moved my blogs over to blogspot, now I am hooked and think how I can turn my life’s moments into a blog post.

My next award is an award that I got last month, but am honored to receive it again. It is the Honest Scrap award from Elizabeth over at Confessions of a Working Mom. Elizabeth has an adorable family and I love reading her blog, she is such a creative writer and another great storyteller. She lays it all out in the open from the other side of the coin, her stories as a career woman, working outside of the home are completely different than the Stay at Home/Work at Home stories/bloggers/communities that I usually connect with. Yet in many ways they are the same. You have to go check her out for yourself to find out. Thanks Elizabeth!

And my last award is the Best Blog Award from Sandy over at The Hop Family. Sandy’s blog has a little bit of everything and is a fun read. The Hop Family has also been building an addition on to their house to accommodate their growing family, but I have to give Sandy some serious props for the slow and steady Cash Only method of building. One of my favorite things she has on her blogs is 101 Goals. I have a back burner with my 101 Goals simmering quietly on while I get it together, it looks like such a fun project! Thanks so much Sandy.

I have no idea what the rules are for this one, but I now have kids who are ready for Family Movie Night. So will just say, check out the rules in the awards above this one and run with that.
