Vaccines, O2 Sats and Cranky Kids

Owain had his O2 checked today, he is holding strong at 84, and has been there for the past 2 months. Way to go Owee!

Wing Nut, Little Nut Nut, and Wee Nut all had the flu shots today, and the two older ones are walking around holding their arms like they just got stabbed with a sword. They are super cranky, and have spent most of the afternoon whining, crying and complaining. Joy. Wing Nut also had a weight check, and has gained a pound in the past month. So for now we are going to put off endoscopy to test for celiac.

She Nut gained almost a pound too, she has such pudgy little cheeks, but you probably wouldn’t know that because I can’t seem to get my act together to show new pictures. Totally my fault. She had three shots, and one oral vaccine. For years I didn’t get my kids vaccinated while I tried to figure out what was best for them, and us as a family. After years of research I started vaccinating my kids, and they are all caught up. It really is important for kids with heart defects, and the rest of the family to be up to date with their shots. She is too young for the flu shot. Poor little girl is way cranky this evening! I feel bad giving her three shots. I used to take my kids in week after week giving them one shot at a time. Sorry little girl, no time for that these days. Good thing for her is that she is done for 2 more months.
