I am Not as Strong as I appear. I enjoy weakness from time to time. We are a homeschooling, special needs family of 6. My 4th son has a Congenital Heart defect, and my oldest has ADHD. I am a survivor of Adultery and mental abuse. I learned that you never really know someone until you are strong enough to stand up and walk away. I love and protect my children, with everything I have. My life might seem unbelievable, but I couldn't make this shit up if I tried! Stick around & let's get to know each other.

10 Things Tuesday

10 Things Tuesdays! Ten things made you happy this week? Blog about ’em! Ten things you want to do before the week’s over? Blog ’em! Any ten things, any theme you wish, every Tuesday over at Magnolia Queen.

10 Things that are on my To do list for this week:

1. Finishing up Honey Nut’s dresser. I started a quick simple refinish, and then I decided it needed to be more complicated. I think I might finish it today!

2. Finish up building the homeschool closet shelf system. Pretty much done except for a bit of paint touch up. Decided against painting, the shims barely show up and are now covered by bins.

3. Wander around the house looking for all of the homeschool books that have managed to get scattered around the house. You’d think the kids were excited about homeschool or something!

4. Finish cleaning out kids old bedroom, which is the new homeschool classroom and move all of their things to their new bedrooms.

5. Finish building the railing for the stairs and get the gates installed at the top and bottom of the stairs. Wall Nut is doing an awesome job building the stair rail, and it looks awesome so far!

6. Get a photo of the crazy weird bug that descended upon our back patio last night and post it so you can see why I almost peed my pants last night!

7. Start, and maybe finish repairing the cracks in the homeschool classroom and do some paint touch up.

8. Water, water, water the baby grass and new grass seed that we planted and hopefully have a real back yard again!

9. Load the dishwasher and stop ignoring the kitchen while I work on all my other projects.

10. Cut and henna my hair.
