Home Sweet Home

I am so happy that we got to bring Owee home from the hospital today! It seems so much longer than one day, and I think it is going to take me a lot longer than one day to catch up on my lack of sleep. But the important thing is that we are home and all together. The kids were happy to see Owain and he had the biggest brightest smile when we pulled up to the house and he realize he was home. He is still on steroids and will be for the next three days. I want to say it is Orapred or something like that, but I am not sure exactly at this moment.

For much of the time we were at the hospital, Owee kept asking for Toy Story 3, which they don’t have, they don’t even have Toy Story 1 or 2! He was a bit upset about that and asked to watch any Toy Story movie over and over. Once we got settled in at home, he asked for TS 3 and within just a few minutes, he was fast asleep on the couch, tucked in with his Toy Story blanket, his sister asleep on the couch next to him. Honey Nut was excited to see him when we got home and rushed up to see what all the excitement was all about. I think she may have been more excited to see him that she was to see me. She followed him around all afternoon and when he climbing up on the couch she had to follow him. She actually fell asleep with her back to the TV so that she could look at her big brother. Those two are just so stinking cute!

While they were sleeping I was able to get the rest of my Christmas decorations down, everything except for the tree. I got everything but the tree packed up in boxes and ready to go up into the attic. I also finished cleaning the kitchen, I got a few loads of laundry done, and did some more cleaning and organizing in the pantry/laundry room. Grandma Nut also bought us some frozen pizzas and that made dinner super easy! It was so nice to have an easy dinner without any thought and to sit down and hang out with all the kids and spend time together.

While the the Bedtime Shuffle was underway with the big kids, Owee and Honey Nut climbed on the couch together again. Only this time Owain fell fast asleep and Honey Nut waited for him to fall asleep so she could snag his Tag Jr and sit and read his books.

I completely forgot that it was Sunday, and that I missed out on posting my Get Fit With Wii Fit Sunday check in until someone mentioned it to me. I will put that post up tomorrow for link-up!

Thanks for all of the prayers, thought and well wishes for Owain, he recovered so quickly, I know that all of our prayers were answered! Thank you so much, every kind word means the world to us!

Glad he was able to come home so quickly! I dread having to take my lil one to the ER once she’s old enough to talk 🙁

Thanks Nanette! When he gets sick, it comes on fast and intense, but then once he starts getting meds he responds almost as quickly.
