I am Not as Strong as I appear. I enjoy weakness from time to time. We are a homeschooling, special needs family of 6. My 4th son has a Congenital Heart defect, and my oldest has ADHD. I am a survivor of Adultery and Domestic Abuse. I learned that you never really know someone until you are strong enough to stand up and walk away. I love and protect my children, with everything I have.

As I Was…

On recent occasions As I Was out in public:

I got home to find Cheerios dried, crusty and stuck the back of my shoulder. Bummer.

Walked out of my Little Nut Nut’s preschool classroom to realize that my white nursing pad was falling out of my black bra and my black tank top. Fabulous.

I came home from Wal-Mart to the realization that I forgot the nursing pads, hence the wet boobs. Cute.

I was walking through Target, again after dropping a few of the kids off at school, I noticed that I had dried spit-up on the back of my tank top and down the back of my pants. Ooohhh so sexy.

After having a wicked allergy attack, itchy watery eyes, runny nose, and just about sneezing my brain out, while waiting in line to pick my child up at school, and after I pick up said child, I drive away and glance at myself in the mirror to find a booger. Nice.

And just today, I got home from dropping off 2 of my kids at 2 different schools to realize that my tank top was on inside out. Brilliant.

As my friend Lisa likes to say “Poke me with a fork, I’m done”
