I am Not as Strong as I appear. I enjoy weakness from time to time. We are a homeschooling, special needs family of 6. My 4th son has a Congenital Heart defect, and my oldest has ADHD. I am a survivor of Adultery and mental abuse. I learned that you never really know someone until you are strong enough to stand up and walk away. I love and protect my children, with everything I have. My life might seem unbelievable, but I couldn't make this shit up if I tried! Stick around & let's get to know each other.

Thankful Thursday

It has been too long since I have shared my Thanks with Y’all.

I will admit, life has been hard for me over the past year. My father passed away a year ago December 4th, Wee Nut needed another Heart surgery that were weren’t planning on so soon after his Fontan.

My kids are extra stubborn this week, but I am Thankful that I get to Homeschool them. I had to completely rework my lesson plans for the week, but I think we are all going to end the week feeling good about education and responsibilities.

Coffee. Thankfulness overflowing for coffee. As usual.

My life has steered my back into the direction of making and selling my jewelry again and am Thankful for the fulfilment that comes with this.

Homeschool took a lot out of me today,  I finally got around to putting some Henna on my hair, and thankful for take out food!

Life is good.

What are you Thankful for today?

“thankful thursday” is a fantastic way to remind yourself to be grateful. my condolences about your father…i can only imagine your pain. i’m thankful for my mom’s help (as i desperately needed a break), while my LO is getting over a cold. i’m also, thankful for coffee as well. i can’t imagine my day without it. i only have one daughter, and im usually a walking zombie. big props for having 5 kids?! and homeschooling?! woah….you may just be superwoman 🙂

Thanks Raquel! I am not so sure about superwoman, I have just learned how to pick and choose the best way to get through the day, even if it means heading in a completely different direction than planned 😉
